Space Day 2025

Space Day 2025

For more than 70 years, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has inspired our nation and the world with its outstanding record of bold space exploration and scientific discovery. The agency’s strong presence in the Lone Star State has long been a source of pride for all Texans and has inspired countless organizations to move and innovate here as they reach for the stars. Today, Texas boasts a burgeoning space economy that expands far beyond the shores of Houston to nearly every corner of our great state.

On Space Day, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, organizations from across Texas will come together to commemorate our forward momentum and call attention to Texas’s growing space economy through interactive exhibits, installations, events, and programming for you and your family.

This includes meeting astronauts on the Artemis II crew, learning about moon landers and rovers, experiencing interactive virtual reality shows, visiting an inflatable version of the International Space Station, and other educational and interactive exhibits. Also, they’ll have ice cream!

Registration is not required, but those interested in attending this year’s event and bringing their families can register at SpaceDayTX.com. The event is located at the Texas State Capitol, 1100 Congress Avenue, Austin, TX.
